We have the same kind of fences in Kentucky, Inger. Call them dry stone because they're not held by any mortar. Thanks for the reminder of your grass-roofed huts. Enjoyed seeing them when visiting Norway. This photo says "weekend getaway".
Beautiful photo. When I've seen it, i immediately tought to my journey in Spain, the "Camino de Santiago". Thank you for sharing, you have a new follower!
What a dreamy photo, Inger. It is beautiful. I cannot image anything nicer that leaving for and returning from work and driving this little road. It is heavenly, and your capture of the landscape is awesome. Very pastoral and quiet. We do not see fencing or walls like this here in our part of Virginia. genie

Beautiful rustic shot. I love the rock fence.
Such a pretty shot. I used to have a rock fence in my backyard - such a nice addition to the property.

Hi there – that’s a really well constructed shot - I like the way the eye is pulled into the picture.

What a beautiful rock wall... a lot of work went into that! =)
That's a beautiful stone fence. We don't see anything like that around here in flat, farm country.
Stone walls are so much more interesting than fences. :)
Can a photo have a soul? This one seems to...
I have always loved stone fences ... we don't have many around here. This one warms my heart!!! :=}

Hi Inger, A lovely stone fence along the wandering country lane.
A lovely shot of the country road and stone fence. Beautifully composed. Happy Scenic Sunday!
