Psalm Challenge from Robert at Daily Athens.
From Psalm 6,9:
"The Lord has heard my supplication;
the Lord accepts my prayer."
(My english bible is an old Revised Standard Version,
from my time at Capernwray Bible School in England, back in 1972/73.)

That second shot is so beautiful. Whenever I see a really great photo like this, I always think it would make a great picture puzzle. That would be a great (and slightly difficult) one!
Thanks for the nice comments on my pics. Wow, I don't know where to start on yours--the raindrops are awesome, the heart shots are such a creative and fun idea, and the sky shot is so beautiful. You take amazing pictures. I too, taught first grade for many years--now I love to do "arts and crafts" (more on the "crafts" side instead of the "arts" side unfortunately). I"ll check out your blog frequently--love it!!!! Mickie
Så vakkert! Flotte bilder til teksten.
Ha en god søndag:-)
The Psalms are so mingled with nature. You can't have one without the other.
Of all the Christian translations the RSV is good and clear and beautiful.
Shalom to you.
Very beautiful, and full of God's glory.
Many thanks upon this beautiful participation ! And yes, it is mostly nature and its strength, that helps me 'to survive'.
Of great joy it will be to see you soon again. Please have a good new week.

Thank you for this post! The psalms are creating many thoughts and opening a lot of meditations.
Mange takk!
Nicely done. As Dina mentions, nature and psalms always seem to fit together.
