Skywatch Friday and Himmelsk

On a frosty day last week I was out photographing the sunset. As I stopped by the roadside and rolled down the car window, a piece of ice, that had been on the window, remained upright by it self. 

From there on it was just a matter of wriggling myself around in the car seat until the piece of ice was positioned right in front of the setting sun, and shoot!

I forrige uke hadde vi en dag med frost, og jeg var ute for å fange solnedgangen. Jeg stoppet i ei lomme ved veien og rullet ned vinduet, og dette isflaket, som hadde vært på vinduet, ble stående der av seg selv. Så var det bare å vri seg rundt i bilsetet til isflaket var posisjonert foran sola, og klikk!

Signs, Signs

This is the display window of a car dealership in Sydney. It's a quick shot taken through the window of a moving car, in rain and darkness (I was not driving!), so please excuse the poor quality. As a Sign shot, it was just too good to pass by. As for advertising, is it  too provoking? I only know what I saw; I don't know the background for the idea.

If this advice is followed, there might not be any more life at all!
