Signs, Signs #22

This is a sign you don't see very often.
It was put up by a closed down road toll station,
just north of Stavanger,
when the road was paid off.

It's quite satisfactory to drive through it
and not have to stop and pay any more.

Visit Lesley for more signs.

It is a rare sign indeed! The government here is talking about adding tolls to roads here, unfortunately. (Although many politicians deny it.)

wow! here, whether the toll roads are paid off or not, they continue to collect the tolls...

That is a nice reminder that you no longer have to pay. Seeing that sign would make me smile as soon as I entered the road!

we take a lot for granted, nice to see that it's nice to go through a road way for free.

The road looks ki9nd of abandoned. They should put up a welcome sign.

I hope we see more of those signs! Your photo of the toll station has a lot of neat artistic elements going. I like curves and swirls!

That's just the sign I would love to see at a gas station.
