Shadow Shot Sunday #180

‎"If I could turn back time..."
Oh, wait, I can. Tonight. One hour.
Better than nothing.

This means lighter mornings,
which won't affect me
as I'm a late riser.

To me, it means longer, darker evenings,
and a huge consumption of candles :-)

Beautiful shadow shot, Inger.
For some reason, North America isn't turning back the clocks until next weekend. I forget why. Maybe just to keep out of step with the rest of the world.

Lovely shot, very comforting the shadows on the wall from the candles. Lovely.

O the mellow colour and the beautiful shadow art from this candlelight are simply exquisite!

The shadows cast by candlelight are always so soft and mysterious.

SHADOW SHOW

Shadows creeping through the land,
Shadows dark on every hand—
If they should begin to glow,
You had better run, you know!

Once winters comes,I am ready for those dancing shadows from the candle flame (but I am not quite ready yet!. I think our clocks go back next week... not sure)

Our clocks go back next week and I am always sad to lose that bit of light. I would much rather they just leave them be. Love the candle shadows!

Beautiful shadows. I love reflection shots.
I am actually glad that the time doesn't change until after Halloween.

Hi - nice image.

I have to say the night when you have to turn the clock forward is less fun. Kids still get up at the same body clock time, but its about 5.30 in the morning!

Great picture and great song quote for the day. I wondered if other countries observed Daylight Savings Time and had told myself I would look it up sometime. Thanks for doing it for me!!

Oh. I'm catching up on my favs while I have a few minutes -- we're on the road. Just realized you posted this earlier -- we are changing back tonight. Oh well, at my age I'll take the extra hour whenever it happens ;>)
