Hi Inger-M, I do like this fence and gateway shot - kind of desolate yet enticing; I'd love to follow the path! (Thanks for visiting my blog)

A fence that seems to have had many life experiences! Lots of character!

It makes me want to open the gate and explore down the road.

Love the fencing and the gate. That looks like it could be the road to nowhere....a mystical and magical place only for those who have the key. I do not know what it is about this shot, but it is one that will stick in my head for a long time to come. I can think of all sorts of stories to put to it. What a great post. It has to be one of my favorites this week. I started at the end of the list, so I am ending with you. Happy Thanksgiving holiday. genie

Love this shot, that fence looks so ole, and the wilderness beyond very desolate

Your photos are such a nice reminder of my time in Norway in late August, Inger. Forgive me if I've already mentioned that, but these memes feature several Scandinavian photographers, which I enjoy so much. Anyway, this old fence and the surrounding country reminds me of scenes that I saw in the Gol, Flam, and Geilo area. Seemed like a place that attracted very hearty campers who stayed in the little sod-roofed hutyas(?).

I love the perspective on this one Inger! We saw some really cool fences as we drove along Indian reservation lands in AZ yesterday -- i wish I'd remembered about the fences meme. (It would have been one more thing for me to holler at Bill 'stop' ;>)
