Signs, Signs

This is the display window of a car dealership in Sydney. It's a quick shot taken through the window of a moving car, in rain and darkness (I was not driving!), so please excuse the poor quality. As a Sign shot, it was just too good to pass by. As for advertising, is it  too provoking? I only know what I saw; I don't know the background for the idea.

If this advice is followed, there might not be any more life at all!

What do you think, should we take risks?
And what do you think of this kind of advertising?

Naughty Volvo. How interesting.

Good capture! Volvos have a bit of a reputation as cars driven by bad drivers here in Australia - "Volvo Driver" is a bit of a derogatory term. However, they are good, reliable cars!

Interesting, we haven't seen that ad campaign over here -- interesting to read NIx's comment too.

Very provocative advertising! The stereotypical view of Volvos is in the "stuffy" department! I guess they are trying to go to the other extreme to prove that Volvos can be outrageous!

Hmmm. Here Volvos are mostly driven by older, well-behaved drivers so perhaps they are appealing to a younger crowd,

I associate Volvos with safe drivers (read overly cautious). Interesting ad.

I love the “naughty” sign...that it to funny. I could be naught in a Volvo...I drive slowly but in a quiet car like it I might become a speeder over night. Great post. genie
