Challenge #11 - Flowers

The theme for this challenge from 2 daughters, 1 mother, 3 cameras is Flowers.

A flower from Brazil, after a rain shower.

Budding leaves on a local tree, in April.

This little flower is a norwegian wild flower called Star of the woods.
It's tiny, with a diameter of only about 1 cm.

These are typical of wet, swampy areas, and are called "swamp wool".

The dried up stem of a plant that has little white flowers in the summer.

A magnolia flower, shot in the Hunter Valley Rose Gardens, Australia.

And finally, a couple of "ice flowers" :-)

I'm amazed by the ice flowers. I have tried several times to take photos as nice as these. I will keep trying. :)

I love these photos--they are exquisite and fill my eyes.

I was looking at your winter magnolia blossom from Australia--it looks exactly like our queen Anne's lace does when it dries up in winter.

How VERY lovely.
