Guest Heart Thursday #35

Clytie at Random Hearts is the host of Guest Heart Thursday.

My husband spent most of August and September this year in hospital, receiving stem cell transplant treatment for leukemia. One of my little attempts to brighten up his room was this picture of the two of us. I attached it to the red heart so it could hang from the IV stand (which we nick named "Hangman"). It received a lot of attention from the staff, who thought is was so cute :-)

These pictures are from before he lost his hair from the chemo.
You can see the picture up there among the various iv bags.

My other blog Journey to life documents Sigve's journey from being admitted to hospital with the leukemia diagnosis, through stem cell transplant treatment, and on to recovery at home.

Your beautiful Random Hearts post brought tears to my eyes. What a beautiful thing to hang from the IV pole ... a picture with a heart. Now those tears are streaming.

Love and Peace to you today.

Thanks, all of you, for your good wishes! Everything considered, and under the circumstances, SIgve is doing very well. Thank God for the power of prayer, and positive energy. It will probably take him a year to recover and get back in shape :-)

Happy weekend to all of you!
