Photo Sunday: Field

The PhotoSunday theme this week is Field.

All my field photos are taken this summer on
Øland Island, off the east coast of Sweden,

That first picture is truly amazing! i´d love to paint something like that, with those warm colors!
Congrats on your new blog, Inger Marie!

Thank you both so much! That first one is a very lucky shot, snapped through the car window while driving past (I was not driving!). This was in Sweden, and when I saw the neighboring blue and yellow houses, it just flashed through my mind that they needed to be in a photo. Fortunately I had my camera in my lap. I couldn't believe how well it turned out!
And Janne, of course you should paint it! :-)

Beautiful photos. The first one with the warm, glowing light is so peaceful. I wonder if they are the summer houses that are only occupied for 3 months a year - as I read in Theorin's books? And the second with the knurly old tree - I bet that has seen a lot of harsh winters. And the house by the sea - is it one of the many boat houses I read about? Or is it Inspector Wallander's house (have you read the series by Henning Mankell?).
